| Learn how to make your own cards at the Introduction to Letterpress workshop |
Crank up the presses. We are hosting a letterpress workshop with one of the city's most creative print makers Akemi Nishidera of Kozo Studio Gallery. Drop by her studio and you'll often find her polishing old type or making her own paper.
On Thursday July 11, from 1pm to 3pm, she will be here at the gallery for a letterpress workshop, where you'll learn how to work on small presses. You can design and print your own cards, stationary or invitations.
No previous design experience is necessary. It's summer camp for adults.
Introduction to Letterpress happens July 11, 1pm to 3pm as part of the Summer Collective workshop series. Cost is $35, including materials. Register in person in advance at the gallery or by email at thecollectiveshow (at) gmail (dot) com.
