Artist Anne-Marie Olczak, Holiday Collective |
Pulling together the Holiday Collective Show is
always a creative puzzle, as we look for the pieces that fit. This year sustainable design seems to be a
constant theme at the Fifth Annual Holiday Collective Show. There is a mix of original art and handmade
designs but also many works made from sustainable materials including recycled fabrics,
industrial parts and even silver and gold.
This year, as well, the show has a new and easier–to-get-to
home. We are still in the Queen West Art
District but after four years at the Artscape Triangle Gallery we’ve moved to
Artscape Youngplace, the grand arts centre at 180 Shaw Street.
The show will run from Wednesday December 17 to
Monday December 22. Keep checking back
as we give you an advance look of the show.
