Sneak Peek

Artist Laura Hains, The Collective 2012

If it's November then it's the unofficial start to the holiday season.  Here at The Collective Show we are getting ready for our third annual show at Artscape's Triangle Gallery and transforming the space into a showcase for art and handmade designs.

The joy of this show is that you never know what you'll discover.  This year we have a range of artists who work in a mix of mediums, including acrylic paint, ink, charcoal and encaustic.

Charcoal On Paper, Artist Yoko Nomura, The Collective 2012

We've collected handmade designs, including goods for food lovers, knitwear to keep you warm and a range of jewellery created from semi precious stones to recycled china. This year, for the first time, we've reached out to local farmers to feature their artisinal products.  You'll see their work and products on display including wands of lavender from the Weir farm near Hamilton.

We always like to say we are done but we know better.  Until we open the doors on Friday December 7th, we'll keep looking for the unexpected.
